Horsehair pottery is a unique technique combining western adaptations of the ancient Japanese raku firing process with the application of a horse’s mane or tail hair. Never are two pieces alike. The horsehair applied on this pottery was donated compliments of Sandstorm, a wild mustang rescued by Black Sheep Vineyard.
